I’m guessing he is only using it on a few horses. He has a lot of average horses and a few top ones
Top 3 year old and top aged pacer is a pretty good year! Does anyone know if has any good two year olds or horses coming 2 in the pipeline?
BTW. He wasn’t deported. When you get deported you don’t come back in a couple years. He got hit hard financially when the Brooks empire imploded. Was offered a very lucrative deal to be a private trainer for a very wealthy owner down under. Turned out they were even more nuts than Brooks.
Is Brett Pelling a great trainer or a trainer with great results? Great trainers don't get caught with phamaceutical injectables. Brett did in 1988. Great trainers don't get caught tubling a horse in the receiving barn before a race. Brett did in 1992. Great trainers don't come up positive for morphine. The Panderosa did in 1999. Great trainers have champion pacers and trotters. Haughton did. Dancer did. Burgess did. Burke did. McIntosh did. Hell, Toscano and Schnittker did. Brett hasn't. Maybe these are reasons why he isn't in the HOF.
What reality are you living in!Linda got a glacine positive. So did Burke, they blamed the shavings but 3 months before that they searched Jake Lemmon at Gaitway and found a injectable bottle of glacine along with a shock machine. That’s documented ny NJC.Burke also got a High Bicarbonate at The Meadows which he did 15 days for. He also got a narcotic positive on a opioid as well, which he blamed the groom for pissing in the stall. News flash they tested the groom who and he was clean. All on record with PA RCNifty was who got turned in by Norm Parker at the Meadows
After just watching Tattoo Artists. If they go absolutely insane and race Confedatross Hanover in the TVG FFA I stand corrected, I said in and earlier post he would get shredded, I retract that, he would get castrated by that group and his stud career out the window!
Pelling came back in the game with something new and indictable. Once a crook always a crook. If it looks like a skunk smells like a skunk it's a skunk.
I could swear I read an article saying they were toying with taking him to the TVG but I predict they'll dodge that too. He is a hell of a nice colt but if he paces past the FFAs this year..I won't say it couldn't happen but I really doubt it.
There is no benefit to racing in TVG with a 3yr old. If he wins his next 3 starts his stud fee will be set. Go to TVG and risk getting beat there is no upside
Found the article: https://harnessracingupdate.com/2023/09/20/adam-bowden-confederate-wont-race-next-year/?fbclid=IwAR1YiWQkC95_0CVqb6KoiEQLVbGnFOj88i2ER9JalaWiDKxXbHTHFp8C214But I agree with you..I don't think they will go. I also would not be surprised if he "gets injured."
