ISS 2YO Colt showdown tonight
« on: August 18, 2023, 07:55:50 AM »
The top Indiana 2 YO colts and geldings will be out in full force tonight in race 7 at Hoosier!  The 1st division is easily the toughest.  The way I break it down is like this. Noblesville, the Burke horse goes for the lead, with Rocco's horse Play Action Pass grabbing the 2 hole. MMs Bud has to go early from the outside, followed 2nd over by Welch's nice recent winner of the Fox Stake, TellMeItMatters!  They go the 1st Q in 27, then hit the half in 55.4! At this point, Rocco's horse gets out and takes the lead at the 3/4s in 1:24!!  As they turn for home TellMeItMatters challenges sharply with Noblesville and MMsBud not gaining, and then LeWayne cuts Rolling Image, the Tyler George horse, loose, he's got a full head of steam!! TellMeItMatters and Rocco's horse are still there with Rolling Image coming fast!!  The 3 hit the wire together, in 1:50.3!l last Q in 26.3  Who do you guys think Wins??  The 2nd division much easier, should have Martz Telly going all the way off his recent form!!

Looks on paper like a nice race. Ill tune in to watch (tomorrow night my set tuned to mochalk for several gold and willie well/peaceful way elims).  I think welchs horse goes for the top. If the 1 can get away decent hes got the best consistent kick (a nice one for a 2 yr old) and thats where id wager. But you got burke, george, welch and e mller. Not easy to toss those barns and realistically none of those would surprise me.

Hope they all get a fair safe run and good luck!

I didn't respond perfectly because I reject the premise of your question because I don't think Lucpark's horse is pushing the pace because I think Play AP is better mid pack early.
I hope this helps

They got nothing in this race!  Bought one for $65000 hasn't panned out! Hip #177 Captain Tell!  Thank goodness we outbid them for our horse!!
