No reason to doubt it. Just strange, that if they thought it was good fit,
that he hasn't, to my knowledge, raced in it before.

I know Don Tiger has always been the owner, but do you recall if he was listed as the "lessee" because in the chart for his qualifier he is?

Didn't catch that. Good eye. I've followed the horse pretty much every start
of his career and never recall seeing that.

Turns out, NOT such a good eye. If you look , it's listed like that on every horse, every race.
Says owners- lessees on them all. So 'HE'S the only owner, I would say confidently.

Carter is sharper than Cushing. Carter can butter one up.

I remember Carter clear back when Belcher ruled. Way back when they did afternoon
and then evening cards at Nfld. Was mainly a driver then.

You're right! I only looked at his chart, but after looking at the charts for all the winners it does say owners-lessees, my bad!

Tiger is the breeder. He would never sell that horse. He would put the old lady out before he put the horse out.

Apparently he like to put butter on everything...he needs a personal treadmill...

I've spoken with Don a couple times and found him to be a very nice person.  I met Carter once many years ago and personally i thought he was a blowhard.  He seems to be a good trainer but his attitude didn't impress me in the least.

You might be the only person in Ohio that doesn’t like Carter.  I doubt he will be as good for his new connections.

After two no-try touring trips in feature at Pocono with Purple Jesus, he drops a
level with Cushing up and goes gate to wire in 1:49.1 at even $$. Tuning up nicely. tmbz1

In tonight[4-hole] in first division of leg one of the Borgata series. Tricky spot with that Chase H
inside of him. Not too many getting around him out of the if he's driven hard. If Purple Jesus
doesn't leave though, risks being boxed or first up. If he does leave, he easily could get  stung
hard or worse yet, hung the mile. My guess is he'll maneuver into the rail 3rd and just ride it
in this first leg.
