I see Purple Jesus is up after all tonight. I still think he will be sucking along the rail hoping for points.

Well he DID get around Verdun out of the gate. Nice drive by Miller, Just too good of
a trip for that Mossdale horse. Still showed signs of life. Picked up some needed pts.

I think he looked good. Agree with bello he is better off the pace, but 2 hole on a half mile track you gotta try and go to the top..Miller used him twice within the first quarter. Used a little at the start and came away 3rd and used again to go to the top.

Thought he ran credible tonight, but will be hard pressed to make the finals without winning at least one leg, or maybe 2, or some 2nd place finishes, where he's probably overmatched anyway.

I can think of 3 or 4 who are easily better or at least in better form right now.

Not sure why so many are critical of this horse. Solid effort last night and certainly belongs with these

Mostly we are fans, not critical. Everyones favorite underdog. I had him when Brett Miller was erroneously taken down at the big M. Been following him ever since.

He ran good last night but unless he wins at least one leg will never make the finals, but I do think they have a consolation for good money.

The worst take down I've ever seen, as much of a fan of Mark Macdonald as I am it was ridiculous

Gingras's horse Southwind Gendry cleared make a quick break in front of Charlie May causing him to interfere with horses behind him, can't believe the judges didn't see it. The DQ was ultimately overturned a few years later. Speaking of Charlie May, he drew outside post 7 in his elimination next Monday night and basically has no shot.

Good news and bad news for Tiger + Charlie...Good news he drew in away from the big guns.
Bad news, his luck ran out on the draws as he got the seven hole out of seven for the next leg.

Huntinthelastdola r may not be one of the big guns, but he does have a win and second in the first 2 legs, and drew just inside of Charlie May, and has good gate speed which may discourage Miller from leaving.

Charlie is being pointed towards the consolation

 He could win it
It's a great game, if you have the means to play

I'm not so sure he will outright leave from post 7 but he might leave for forward position and try and work out a second over trip. I think he is better off the pace. His division was the second fastest last week and he was used pretty hard at the start and the early quarter move. As far as the final or consolation goes, as we all know post draw will mean everything
