149.1 qualifier with a 52.3 last half and 25.4 final quarter to hold off Bythemissal. Definitely need a mile like this. Slammed with bad posts and taken way back, she has been a disappointment thus far. Got to question why Pelling was so behind in her conditioning, I get they do not want to race her that much this year but it does not appear she has any kind of speed to put her into the race with a bad post. Hopefully she finally gets a break from post gods for the big mares race on Hambo day where she can shine.
It might not be a case of her falling off from last year as the others like Mikayla and Grace Hill and Silver Label just got better. Cannot expect to make 10 lengths up on horses who can leave and come home in 26.3 against those.
