Does he really have a private plane he takes between tracks on two-a-days?

Yes, that's all true.   And Monday and Tuesday he's going home to Geff, Illinois to bury his Father who just passed.

He doesn’t have his own plane many of them rent one together

They used to. Now they also fly commercial as tough as that may sound.

Flying private has doubled in cost in recent years making it impossible to use unless absolutely necessary.  Most of the owners are slow or no pay when it comes to plane fees so most of the big drivers skip flying or just go commercial.

These top tier guys have to get every dime they can in today's game! Everyone of them are one happenstance from never being able to drive again. With the things that trainers do to make horses go like raped apes nowadays, the chances increase! Every time the purses increase ,so do the odds of a catastrophic event. Tim hustles alot more than some are willing to!,that's for sure. I  applaud his work ethic.

I was at the Red Mile last September. Overheard a east coast trainer mentioning flight from Cincy since Lexington was too expensive. I doubt drivers are getting private jets. Jockeys maybe, drivers no.

I remember the days of Campbell, O'donnell, Waples, Remmen , Lew Williams, Rankin, etc etc helicoptering back and forth to YR and RR summer stakes season from the Big M, especially on Saturdays for Yonkers Trots, Cane Paces, Messengers even some opens     I know guys from Canada would do the same or charter private jets to the US for major events   there are some Zeron produced youtubes from inside the aircrafts

Helicopters would land in the parking area behind the backstretch fence at YR and sometimes inside the sand backtrack at RR   great days to reflect on

I saw a selfie pic few yrs back. Onrario 'B' circuit boys, I believe, driving together on way up to Georgian, north of Tor...might have been ont grass roots tuesday night trek up after mon night at moh/grand river poss.

And unlike the old days of pro wrestlers, heels in one car heroes in another, the 3 or 4 mugging for the pic, who were about to '$$ duke it out', seemed pretty happy 'kicking it around' and prob saving gas.

**
Not sure if Southern Ontario horsemen hockey league still exist but lots of comradery among the troops despite the nightly 'at work $$ competition'

Timmy still  concentrating on racing; sears im not so sure mind or heart in it any longer In all sports, at the very top not much separates the top competitors. Lack of intense concentration can sink a n athelete. Say, and show us it aint so mr sears. Big m stats  less than  brian of old.
