you are right about that.Fortunatly he did know about it a few weeks before he died. His son Mark will be in Goshen for him.

That's true about his getting the news. Glad Marc will be there. Funny story about that kid. He was
 such a screw up when he tried to launch his own training/driving career mid 80s at YR. He was in my barn at YR and rarely showed up before 10 or 11 am. Anyway his grooms knew that and around 9 they would bring 3 or 4 horses out and put them on the outside cross ties. Throw a cooler on them, wet their legs and tell Marc when he showed up that everything got jogged and trained. LOL  Another time he was gonna claim an 18K from us. He forgets to sign the claim slip. Following week, Earl Cruise claimed the horse from us. Next week, Marc goes to claim the horse from Earl. Forgets to sign the claim slip again. He ended up getting a shiny chrome rig and transporting high value horses of all disciplines all over the country for a living.
