I like speed horses in the long races at yonkers because usually they go very slow

At a rate of 2:00 minute mile, 1/16 or an extra 1/16 should be 7 1/2 seconds fyi.

The 8th could be interesting to the 1/4, the 1 and the 3 should have an advantage.

1,3/1,3,2,4,5/1.3.2,4,5

At a rate of 2:00 minute mile, 1/16 or an extra 1/16 should be 7.3 seconds fyi.

Usually the pace is much slower in these longer races, that is all I am saying. It is harder to make up ground for the closers even though you have the extra distance
