Just because you decide to not be aggressive off the gate doesn’t mean we aren’t trying to win. Yes, majority of races are won on or near the front. This is proven through statistics. But majority isn’t the outcome all the time. We show up to race to earn, simple as that.

The gamblers bet to win. You are just sucking along for a check. That’s the problem with this sport. You don’t have to and shouldn’t leave every week but when you don’t pull or pull and don’t advance then it’s a problem. The higher purses have many not racing to win and just racing for a check.
