You guys don't know bupkis! Scott Ehrlich is a cinch to be in the Top 2. I mean he has all the skills, plus everyone at the track loved the mensch at both Maywood and Balmoral. He's been a success everywhere he goes. To be not ranked higher would be a shanda.

Kurt Bexker and it’s not even close.  There is a reason he was hired as first announcer in Keenland history as well as does Kentucky Derby on relaxin side as well as NASCAR and Barrett Jackson car show.  Dude is major talent.

I'm biased because I'm friends with Pete, but I'm still putting him up top. Gil was overrated because IMO he had the best meets and horses but made tons of mistakes.

When Joe Mazzone took over for Gil at Sportsmans Park in 1996, he told me Gil made a "sure thing" bet on Jenna's Beach Boy in the American-National. When Fahy ran him off his feet in the turn and ended  up 8th he thought Gil might eat his own gun 
Anderson and Falcons Dakota won that night, just beating Stand Forever.
Gil always did love betting chalks.
