Thought it was odd the shortest exacta box came in besides the let it ride exactas  someone is sharp or lucky

I know they have small pools, but that's a bad exacta for a big favorite and the 3rd choice horse having the rail to be out of the number.  $2 tri over $450 seems ok.  Someone had a decent ticket on that exacta.

I don't necessarily think that.  But once they start getting assigned outside posts, you will get a no-try mile thrown in there.  Someone had a lot of confidence in the exacta for it to be low.

Somebody had to have a clue  it was a good race fast but if the 7 wns he probably is not racing next week.

Exactly the point I was trying to make.  Have to throw in a no-try once in a while so they don't ask you to sit out or try somewhere else.
