Why do some get the boot and others with equally crazy stats get a free pass?

Tyler George was unreal last year.  500+ starters and batted .450?  That's ridiculously good!   Dowse gets banned for almost the same stats.  I get it, different tracks, but come on.

How did Erv Miller get away with it? He cooled it later on like Petrelli did at Monticello? You gotta know when to cool it. Erv is the master of that.
