I remember saying to myself on his last Big M broadcast that he didn't look right to me. I am kicking myself for not sending him a message. It is hard though because nobody wants to hear that stuff, especially people on tv.

I remember during Jug broadcast he left the booth and they questioned why he didn't return. Maybe over stressed or too much on his plate which affected his health. Either way very sad news to lose someone that young just like Sam Mckee was.

Dave Brower lived and breathed harness racing in general and Meadowlands harness racing in particular. Brower served as The Meadowlands' morning line oddsmaker, handicapper, and broadcaster for 16 years from 1987 to 2011 until  a request for health insurance and benefits was denied and he took a job with the Kings supermarket chain while continuing to do free lance work.  He returned to the Meadowlands as a per diem employee in 2017.
