Last time I went to Hawthorne voyager closed from last to win at 9-1 Tony Morgan and I saw a girl get punched in the mouth out front.  Below zero wind chill my girlfriend was crying terrorized.  30 years ago for sure.

Harness racing on its last legs in Illinois.  Where is race track Rosie these days ??

Just a shame what's happened to IL racing. Somewhat part of the current landscape of the sport and industry, but worse IMO.

I remember that too. Not the top of the sport, major leagues, per se, but always packed, full fields, competitive fields, for the most part.
