Late nite "drag" pays off.. Meds handle tops $3 million
« on: April 02, 2022, 04:39:49 PM »
"We need to do at least $3 million in handle every night," said Chief Operating Officer and GM Jason Settlemoir. "We will continue to lengthen or shorten the "drag time" between races as we see fit, as long as we can hit our handle target."

Pick 3 and 4 was cancelled last night.
Had to have at least 500K in those pools.

Coming off a weekend where neither night was able to top $3 million dollars in total handle, another troubling sign has emerged. "We carded 26 races this weekend and we could only fill 12," said Racing Secretary Scott Warren.  "I've asked Mark Ford to appeal to the SBOANJ membership to support our entry box. There are just too many New Jersey horsemen entering at Chester and Pocono before dropping into our box."

As with the drivers, is the next step trainers must contractually agree to race exclusively at the Meadowlands or face expulsion?

Big Jeff should hire Gabe and let him run the show. Gabe got 15 (10) horse fields for Sunday night's Grand Finale and race 16 has 11 starters.  11.wp

APPARENTLY THE WAGERING PUBLIC IS TELLING THE JEW AND HIS TEAM TO GO FUCK THEMSELVES WHEN IT COME TO THE DRAG.

ANOTHER 3 HUNDRED THOUSAND  DROP IN TOTAL SHOULD SEND A MESSAGE TO THE JEW

RUN THE RACES AT POST TOME, DONT BRING THEM ON FOR THE POST PARADE AT POST TIME

At least the trainers can still have a shot at their 5%. Gural expects loyalty from his drivers & then shits on them by filling race cards with armature races while this loyal drivers sit in the change room.

The BIG did only $2.6 last night with 13 races. They need $3M. Who gets shipped to Vernon or Tioga??

So last night the Meadowlands had 9 non amateur races vs Yonkers 10 and tonight Meadowlands 13 races vs Yonkers 0.
