Legit 1-9 shots
« on: February 17, 2022, 03:57:07 PM »
Just saw a trotting filly bet down to 1-9 on a bad track.
2.10 across the board. How often does that happen?

$2.40 every day many races. Not always $2.10
Some guys like the small profit if they feel it’s a sure thing

That’s what I meant, I almost never see 2.10 across the board especially on trotters. Late double was a robust 3.60 for $2. She won going away by 11, and the exotics had some good value. Still

Betts is 24 for 55! So having a few run off, on any surface, shouldn’t be surprising. With the rocket fuel he has, NASA might be spotted in Washington
Pa soon  tmbz1

The mare in question looks like a nice one, has won by 10,8, and now 11 the last 3 starts.

Right,  but couldn’t get her to go. I bet with Betts she’ll win them

He’s got a reputation of being able to get problem trotters to go. I did notice she’s wearing a belt around the neck instead of a regular head pole.

Wearing a regular headpole under that belt from the looks of it too. I don't know much about that get-up..is that typical? I've only seen them in Aus/NZ racing and I don't recall a headpole also involved.
