ILLINOIS DRIVERS MIA
« on: September 23, 2021, 09:33:01 PM »
Any idea what drivers like John Roberts Ryan Anderson Robert Smolin Brian Carpenter are doing to earn a living
With 3 months off in illinois harness racing many horsemen will be looking for employment.

I believe he's saying "retired?", As in, a person can't retire without the means to actually retire. Those fellows might've quit the business, but they surely aren't financially stable enough, to "retire".

LEAVE IT TO A HORSE FUCK TO COME UP WITH A SELF SERVING DEF.

ONE CAN "RETIRE" FOR THE EVENING. AS IN GOING TO SLEEP.

HE RETIRED FROM HARNESS RACING

A PITCHER RETIRED 12 BATTERS IN A ROW.  AND THERE ARE SEVERAL MORE

SO PLEASE MR FUCK FACE  FINN, PLEASE RETIRE FROM SHOWING HOW STUPID YOU REALLY ARE AND JUST KEEP QUIET TO SAVE YOUR FAMILY FROM FURTHER EMBARRASSMENT

He ran 2nd with the horse 2 years ago in some sort of super night race. Casey beat him with fox valley gemini, he just sold the steed to some goof this year. living off that money cause you know he don't pay child support

Many with wild stabs but no one (but maybe my friend Lucpark) with accurate information.
Bobby isn't retired; he's still laid up with a pesky back injury. His only mistake was thinking he could start back without proper, supervised rehab.
Bobby could always use more $$$ (who couldn't!) but he's more than ok. The instant racing machine business Ira's a partner in is hot. Racing at Ky Downs, Oaklawn, and Colonial are funded with machines like theirs. I heard Bobby was involved with some factor.
I'm not 100% sure but a mutual friend told me Bobby got the hell out of Bourbonnais and is living at Ira's in Tinley Park while Ira is in Florida nearly tear round.
Last - Bobby fully intends to get back in the bike but because he's not destitute like you say he'll now do it only when he's fully healthy.
FYSA
well, it's game over here at Maywood. thanks johnny Johnston for giving us fans the shaft!

Back injuries can be rough.   Personally, I wish him well.
