Scioto Downs grandstanding
« on: September 10, 2021, 09:57:10 AM »
Reported that the OSRC done some spankin' on Caesars to fix up the condemned grandstand @ Sci-OH-no before it matches its name by falling Down.
Seriously?  The concrete in what once was seating at the jewel of harness racing was condemned by City of Columbus 4 years ago.  It took a raceway shutdown to get the Commission to finally revisit the rules with Caesars.
Will they finally get to making repairs? or just keep ignoring the falling chunks of stone until it becomes a bigger problem?

As they should be.  It is an order by the Mayor of Columbus.

Pig, get serious  -  the horsemen put on a gambling show  * it's the racinos job to leverage that converting it to revenue.  The facility maintenance isn't the horsemen's obligation and you jnow it.  Fact of the matter is, Scioto oughta show come respect and knock down the 1959 shed row to make way for a modern paddock.
