the blueprints for it really do make straight in line racing a thing of the past. every 100 feet they are putting in a big pothole to avoid.

On Monday June 7 Yonkers Raceway will open their doors and allow fans to return for the evenings 12 race card which will feature some big purse races.

Working on the Major Deegan and they needed a place to park the equipment.

Wrong that was union 825 heavy construction . They had at least 6 bulldozers , Multiple graders,  track loaders and dump trucks at least 40 men there . Going to be interesting if they get it all done a completely new  racing surface the entire thing .I heard its on facebook showing the complete ongoing operation.
