Ron is suspended from May 11 to May 25 (two Weeks).  All the horses he has been listed as trainer for the last few months will not be able to race?  Or, will he just be able to list a second trainer as trainer and all horses will continue to race as if nothing happen? How about the horses he partially owns? Will they be able to race with him listed as part owner?  I want to try and understand the impact of a trainer getting suspended for two weeks and not only Ron Burke. Any trainer.

If he doesn't appeal and takes the days, all the horses will go down under the various second trainers he has.  Ironic considering he probably doesn't touch 80% of the horses he's listed down for.

either there is testing and penalities or there's not.  nobody's crying.  people just want a level field.  if the horse failed testing, then take the suspension, return the $$$ and let it go.  the issue is not, is not a matter of fairness.  if there are regulations, then enforce them or run the races like the wild, wild olden days

The real question is... Will Burke be banned from Gural operated tracks? In the past its always his practice to bann trainers with positives from racing at his facility's. We will see how much a a level playing field this gural guy is.

went to the usta fines page. It shows Lare with 3 positives of oxycontin at three different tracks and 3 different horses. Each fine lists a $10,000 fine and 365 days. So does he gets 3 years and $30,000???

Haven't see fines this high ever? Anyone know of a fine of more than $30,000
