This time of year we'd be going to Windsor for some good late season cards, then waiting to drive up to Swartz Creek. Northville is and always was a shithole, so you could watch 5/8ths races from Wr and SpC. Hazel wouldn't be far behind, starting early April. Road trips to Saginaw Valley and Muskegon. Summer meant fairs and of course the little track that could - Jackson.

How did we get so bad to have 1 crummy option? Nor might be the worst of the bunch in this list of tracks I mentioned.  I didn't even include driving down I-75 to Toledo for Raceway Park for the Buckeye-Wolverine races.
