Final Pompano Meet
« on: October 16, 2020, 09:46:15 AM »
Any thoughts on what new trainers may show up for the final farewell & will fans be allowed in Florida by then?

I don't think you will get anyone special there. There is a lot of history there.

POMPANO WILL OUTLIVE ME!!!  IT WILL BE THERE FOR A VERY LONG TIME.    LONGER THAN MOST OF OUR LIFE SPANS!!

IN FACT , FLORIDA RACING CAN BE VERY LUCRATIVE IF THE RIGHT PARTIES GOT INVOLVED TO HELP PROMOTE THE SPORT.

IHAVE BEEN TO POMPANO PARK THOUSANDS OF TIMES OVER THE LAST 30+ YEARS AND IN ITS HEYDAY!!  LOVE THE PLACE AND PERFECT FOR WINTER RACING!!!

AT SOME POINT THE HORSEMAN NEED TO BOND AND FORM A LEADERSHIP GROUP THAT CAN IN  FACT BOND TOGETHER TO PROTECT THEIR INTEREST AND QUITE POSSIBLY FORM GROUPS TO TAKE VARIOUS TRACKS AND RACINOS PUBLIC---TOGETHER TO PROTECT THEIR INTEREST

THIS IS POSSIBLE AND THE INDUSTRY CAN BE SAVED IF THE FOLKS TRULY CARE AND ARE NOT GREEDY ----MOST WANT FOR THEMSELVES.   I PERSONALLY BELIEVE IN THIS CLIMATE AN IPO COULD BE COMPLETED FOR A TACK OR A COMBINATION OF TRACKS AND THERE IS PUBLIC MONEY AND INVESTORS AVAILABLE FOR THIS TO TAKE PLACE.

THERE IS MONEY EVERYWHERE ---WORLD WIDE!!!

THE INDUSTRY HAS TRULY LACKED LEADERSHIP AND IT IS ALWAYS ---" ME ...ME... NOT WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU!"   THE FUTURE OF THE SPORT IS IN THE HANDS OF THE VERY FEW PARTICIPANTS LEFT IN THIS INDUSTRY AND I TRULY BELEIVE THAT IT CAN BE DONE!!!

JUST NEED THE RIGHT---POSITIVE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOU THE SPORT AND NOT TO LINE THEIR OWN POCKETS!
