HAS ROGER HUSTON EVER CALLED THE HAMLETONIAN?
« on: July 23, 2020, 02:02:50 PM »
IT WOULD ONLY BE FITTING THAT THE GREATEST HARNESS RACING ANNOUNCER GETS TO CALL THE RACE.  AND WITH THIS YEAR BEING WHAT IT IS, IT IS TIME THE INDUSTRY CIRCLE THE WAGONS INTO FINDING ITS PLACE IN THIS NEW NORMAL
USING ROGER AS A KIND OF CEREMONIAL PASS THE TORCH TO A YOUNGER GENERATION ON THE TV BROADCAST THIS YEAR,  I BET IF YOU ASK ROGER HE WOULD SAY YES AND HE COULD DONATE THE TIME, AND MAYBE EVEN SHAVE HIS BEARD FOR CHARITY ON THE BROADCAST!

And he can keep the beard till he dies. I bet people might even donate to charity to keep him away from the Hambo and probably the JUG. His life will have to be complete without calling the Hambo

I sure do not dispute your comment.

What's puzzling is just how in tarnation he snagged a gig in the harness racing hot spot > OH-IO.  He's even got a title as the ambassador   76za.dcg 76za.dcg 76za.dcg

Pine Chip lost at Syracuse, American Winner lame, parked to just before 3/4s ducked cover behind Pine Chip came back in the stretch to win in 52.3. (hell of a mile in 93) One of the guttier performances I have seen.

Best way to describe "the MOUTH" ................w as written by David Luken on Amazon reviews.......... ....

to hear this blowhard screaming wrong horses all the time and or forgetting the horses name on top
of his completely over the top ego and rude demeanor to subordinates you would have to be crazy to
even think about buying this so called book... legend in his own mind only...the reality is more people turn
down the volume than would ever listen to him call another race...sad but 100% true
Just love doing the broadcast. Shuley, Chumlee, Paddock have gotten used to the holier than thou attitude. We only work on the show, because we get paid. Dealing with Ringo is a different story.
