To show you how little I watch the Meds -- has their pick 5 always been a 20 cent base ?

I'm all for the smaller increments, but feel that 50 cent base would knock out more combinations and perhaps lead to more carryovers.

I see tonights ticket as not having to go to deep except the last leg..

Keying Manchego in the first and watching the Q's love a horse at a bit of a price in the 4th... Will probably being playing a 20 cent ticket with a few price horses and then a $1 ticket on my better horses.

You are correct they changed that to .20 wager back in early February, and the Pick 5 pools started to go up after the change.

I believe some of the thinking was how big Mohawk's Pick 5 pools are with the .20 base.
