No question about it he should be in the HOF.  Classiest guy you could ever meet.  I don't think I ever heard him say a mean thing about anyone.

First of all New Jersey racing has been a joke for at least 10 years. The Meadowlands a B track at best. Chris Boring is probably not a Hall of Famer but a great horseman in his day. At 21 he beat Cardigan Bay and Bret Hanover with True Duane. In 1984 he won the Jug with Colt Fortysix. He also trained some great horses. Albert Albert, Gene Gene, Super Flower. He drove Pine Chip and was instrumental in the early career of lifelong friend Charlie Sylvester. For my Michigan peeps , also had standouts like Cedar Ridge, Chris’s Colt, Time O Nic, Rev Kole, Domino George and my favorite Varrick.

I have heard a guy MF Chris Boring for winning that Jug with Colt Fortysix. But that was mostly about the fact that he had to help break and race Colt Fortysix babies. He was not a fan.
