Trainers who hire Josh Marks

I'm hearing trainers are complaining to Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs, that when trainers ship north who have Josh Marks working for them, not be allowed to have entries taken. Josh has been training for Jennifer Sansone and Fern Paquet Jr. at South Florida. I agree with this.

I remember Josh buying a county fair horse Steuben Joebee. In his first start for Josh, he just got beat in a New York Sire Stake at Saratoga pacing in 1:51. Josh gas is good ! Anyone who employs him, should be black balled by all trainers, and tracks. Are we in a new era where we won't put up with the cheaters, or back to the same old , same old .

agree that owners are to blame. they see $ and thats all that matters. tracks can refuse entries of anyone as long as its not based on anything covered by law, ie race religion ectra. they are private property. anyone owner trainer driver.

No it is some owners who are to blame.  There are some owners who move from trainer to trainer, whoever is hot.Do you think it is a coincidence Crawford employed Navarro, Oakes, Surick and Allard (Lindy the great). Then there are a ton of owners who use the same guys every year for better or worse.

I was there that night...Bet him at 33-1 only because it was first time gas with Bartlett driving....He got beat a neck in 1:51.3 after cutting it (26.2, 54.4, 122.3)....Geez Joe won by a neck off a two hole trip at 1-9.

Total discosure....I just rewatched the replay from 2017.
