Big improvements at Hawthorne?
« on: January 21, 2020, 04:58:59 PM »
Tore track up to resurface of course for harness.  Only track other than Cal Expo now to run multiple breeds on same oval. Also, brand new state of the art lighting system put in to make for better broadcast and seeing races live.

New areas inside still long way from finalized for sportsbook and casino floor. More on that down the line.

Thanks to my friend in mutuels who got me a tour.  tmbz1
well, it's game over here at Maywood. thanks johnny Johnston for giving us fans the shaft!

Good to see improvements at an ancient racetrack

Purse increase and quality racing will also be needed

Eliminate four five and six claiming races

Think big.  Should be the motto for hawthorn
Also replacing the RACE SECRETARY AND RACE ANNOUNCER
A BIG PLUS

Your out then!
Add more 4-6 claimers
Race secretary does a good job
Track announcer is very good
Don’t let any negative owners race there that constantly put the place down
Should be a great year.
Plenty of hay rides for short owners in case they visit the track

They have no interest in a RACINO
