Monticello now in a delay for lightning that is passing by. I'd like to know who was the genius(s) that elected to race today. Track is horrific.

No shit Sherlock but what if horse or driver does get hurt? The place is a year round track. They can easily fulfill their dates by racing a cancelled card in better weather. No one ever says shit until someone breaks their neck and then all the Monday Morning QB's come out of the woodwork screaming how the races should have been cancelled.

The only problem I have with canceling monti today is what am I going to bet this afternoon. dover doesn't start till 4:30 pm. see what I mean. Its tough being a degenerate but somebody has to do it!!
