How does the bill support horse racing?  Are part of the winnings added to the purse account?  Are there going to be slots at the tracks?

that's not at all what it means.

The "tax rates" are what will be paid on the sports book aggregate hold or win.

It has nothing to do with bettors.

Law is never plain stated is it.

I would imagine the sports betting public would get the same basic deal or very very close to what you have in other states. They'd have to to be competive. Having dealt with the nj and my casinos and bookies for yrs, casinos basically charge the public 10 percent juice but adjust up and down to control the action so it approaches equal amounts bet on each team. So you might have put up 12 percent juice if you want Kc to beat the bears but would only put up 8 percent if you wanted the bears.

Hope it helps Michigan racing; fuckin subsidies are kicked all over the place  and l got no problem with harness getting a chunk.

Be surprised if it's as much $ to the state or racing as suggested though.

Bettors be smarter to play sports than racing.  That's what I mostly do, I played breeders cup and one big m card in last six months but churned a lot sports betting.

Does anyone know how the money will be used by the ag fund?  I would much prefer it goes to Michigan bred horses and Michigan sired at the fairs.

I went to harrison and the grandstands were full and people had to pay to sit there.  Definitely more than that is watching live at northville.  Only way you are going to get people to breed is to pump this money into it.

EVERYBODY WHO LIKE THE 2 HORSE, RAISE YOUR HAND.

NEW GAMBLING BILL THE GOVERNOR SIGNED, NOWHERE DOES IT EVEN CONCERN HORSE RACING, WHY? BECAUSE A HUGE GROUP OF HORSEMEN STILL DONT THINK CASINO STYLE GAMING BELONGS IN MICHIGAN.  THEY DONT VOTE, THEY DONT CAMPAIGN
