overheard at the sale

Richard Gutnick bid $450,000 on number 88 Take This Society and was immediately outbid by Adam Bowden who was sitting right behind him, they were all sitting high in the stands in the back of the room

as soon as Rich gave up he turned to his partner sitting next to him and said "I can't believe I can't get a horse for $450,000!"

wild prices
and these high price ones push the bottom and mid range ones up
i dont see purses for overnights or stakes increasing so clearly ROI is not a factor for these folks

yearling prices on some were through the roof

stallion shares spiked up on top stallions

breeding stock way up

Lu's Illusion, sold 235k as a yearling, didn't do much, sold 250k today

many highly priced
