fair racing anytime is the best. racing is good, french fries, fried dough, cotton candy, its all at the fair. my guess is like me most fans got their first taste of racing at a fair. sadly many have stopped racing so it makes each day at a fair all that more special. good luck to everyone this week.

An historic day for Sweeney...sharing the microphone with his lifetime idol............t he person who gave him the chance to call his 1st race......This was not the 1st time they shared "things".     If you happen to be in the announcer's booth near them.........don't bend over to pick up anything you may have dropped

This field of "invite" horses......shoul d have been handicapped...................................by either giving Ron Cushing ( driving the winner of the Gold Cup n Saucer)..........the 8 hole in a 5 horse field....or by making Ron carry   brother Mike on the race bike with him. That would make it a fairer race

i agree on the 8 hole but not carrying mike. that would be cruel. mike gota be 450 pounds. opus is not a bad horse either.
