I blame gingras... Leaves, then comes first up and gets in the way. Sears was following right horse, did everything he could.

I would like to know what in gods name Brian Sears was thinking going to the gait sat night. Purse 500,000. Gets away 6th on the outside in a 8 horse field, he had the 2 hole with  possibly the best trotter of all time. {to be determined}. If that was my horse I would be waiting for him by his car after the races were over. He would never drive not only that horse again and after the entire horse racing industry saw what he did any big time owner that would put him up on their horses again IS A MORON!!!!!!!!

this is the only possibility. horse made breaks in half his starts last year. if he is unstable when you hustle him early, then you are in a bad position as far as getting early position in races. the horse dictates, not the reverse.  once the race develops, you have to deal with the time and distance of whats left. only possible scenario

Correction he won 1 500k race and 2nd in the other two races. Either way he made some nice dough.
