Bangor Opening
« on: May 12, 2019, 06:55:12 PM »
Looking forward to the opening week at Bangor Raceway.  Handle is minuscule, put it is nice to watch the horses and watch Gary Mosher, one of the best of all time.  I noticed the Taggarts have made the long drive north.  Also, Butterfield has two monsters racing. Let the season begin!

the bad news is that cold and heavy rain are in the forecast so the season may not start on tuesday.

Cold rainy day at historic Bangor Raceway.  Gary Mosher wins the opener plus one more.  Karl Butterfield wins the feature with Manny.  Hopefully weather will improve, more horses, great season ahead.

good day of racing. 26000 handle on 8 races is great if you compare it to scarborough's 21000 on 10 races. wish the races started at 6. better for me and handle might go up a little. races are allways pretty formful. danny d. seems like he will be a big factor at least early in the meet.

47 and light rain showers.  Unfortunately can't make it up to Bass Park today.  I will be watching Butterfield's horse.
