In the 12th, there’s a first timer that is 10 years old. He’s finally found his race! Owner is the breeder, she’s been very patient bringing this beast along!

years ago a first time starter was 11 years old at monti. he won

Delaware valley college breeds and races their own horses usually. I've seen them do some funky stuff like this too.
