while it's great to see youngsters being interested in the sport I got to say something specifically about horseplop. it NEVER was intended for kids. it's about frank discussions and opinions about harness racing. sometimes those can be a bit brutal and not for young minds. I suggest you start a kiddie harness site. good luck with that...keeping the real creeps away.


bigger question: with every lurid thing on the internet, is any part of it for kids? not really imo.


send kids to harness camp with usta. keep 8 and 10 year olds off internet, or severely restrict what they can access...plop included.

I think 75% of the posters on here work for the casinos or thoroughbred tracks. Instead of rationally discussing issues the sport has, it goes to cursing, sexual references, racism and accusations backed up by nothing, and many times fake news. Any one who is remotely interested in the sport and accidentally lands on this site, at first glance will be turned off by harness racing.

My 108 yr old grandmother had started following plop. Never heard her swear once up until two weeks ago when the first thing she said to me was that mother*"+&'ing horse plop is starting to piss me off. Especially that horses rear end Hornby Duke.

Lady led a life of genteelity up until then.
