Another is Fillion watch that crook as well he remembers how to drive a lot at good prices. To be honest he's the best driver there when he trys.

I'm curious as to whether WEG plans to do anything about the odds manipulation going on lately. Numerous times in the last two weeks a bomb has opened up at 6-5 7-5 etc only to be 25-1 in a minute or two.
That's just some asshat somewhere who bets then cancels just to see he accomplished something.  A couple thoughts:
1.  On a slow night the win pool is $20k.  I'm assuming the first  odds change occurs and shows as soon as they close the prior race, no matter how much (or little) is wagered into "the open."  How much is in the win pool when the odds first change?

2.  I don't think it matters anyways.  There's rolling p-3's so the will-pays are the better early indicator, certainly when the pool has little action.

I agree with ice man because it's been many things off lately I don't care about win pool they handle 1.5million or more even on a Monday total bets but alot of it seems suspect and some driver's at least know before where to put there horse Roy does it ever night at least once. A horse with speed gets out  8th and then Labor's and it has to go 5 wide and manage is only 2nd or 3rd or 4th. And then you have a closer that's sitting forth watching a speed dual they pull and mysteriously nothing when they pull 26 last quarters every week.

I realize the shenanigans going on is minor but tracks should put an end to it. You buy a $1000 win ticket to manipulate the early odds, too bad you're stuck with it.

I have followed and bet WEG exclusively for a couple decades. The #1 thing to look for in the odds board are horses opening low with death grips scoring down & horses that are 8-1 or so but exactors onto the favorite are short.

I bet $100 on A Farmboys Success last night as he looked good on track and his exactor on 5-3 was so low opening up. Eventually his win price fell to 9-2 but he still crushed. I probably dont play without seeing the low exactor

I watch the early money myself and value it in my final play along with all the other variables.

The group I wager through online monitors cancellations and will withdraw online cancellation capabilities if they perceive what they see to be an abuse. I presumed  tracks and other gambling operations did similar. It's a problem at thoroughbred tracks too. How carefully these guidelines are enforced I don't know.

I would presume someone cancelling a $2 three horse ex bx wouldnt be an issue wheras someone cancelling the same wager as a $50 bx would be problematic especially if a bettor was doing that  with any frequency.

Some of the other comments from plopsters here I wouldn't disagree with. I do observe what I perceive to be strange drives. Imo these occur more on weeknight cards-stakes wheras weekend cards this seems to be less common. There are more eyes on those stakes  nights and with added purse $ and breeding stature/value from major stakes the unusual drives are more what one would expect.

Mochalk has had a run of odd results lately. I always look back at the program to see what I missed when a horse runs big that I didn't anticipate. Given gambling and racing there should be expected odd outcomes at times but lately I've been looking at the program often and scratching my head more than I typically do.
