Muscle Hill sons at stud
« on: September 17, 2018, 02:01:10 PM »
Will there be any standouts over time or will he have the Yankee Glide...had good race horses but never throw a big time sire? Have to add YG is a great broadmare sire however. Here are a list of MH studs so far. Early stages on most.

Crescent Fashion.   IN
Trixton                      NJ
EL Titan.                   NY
Long Tom.                OH
Southwind Spirit.     OH
What The Hill.           OH
Bar Hopping.             PA
Southwind Frank.      PA

Resolve and Canepa Hanover Exported

Marion Marauder where will he stand?
Muscle Diamond still racing at 6. Where will he go?

How much VV blood can we start crossing? Muscle Y and YG are 3x2 crosses.

With that said Muscle Hill still young and many more I'm sure coming down the pipeline.

Resolve stands in Ontario at Tara Hills Stud.  Marion Marauder is racing because he doesn't have great semen. He wouldn't breed enough to make money.   That is an issue with the muscle hill line. It happens in trotters a lot.

I guess I shouldn't have used just the USTA for information. They had Resolve last race 2017 marked with a asterisk meaning exported. Also looking up ON for trotting sires he wasn't mentioned. Thanks for the correction that he stands at Tara Hill.

Southwind Frank also has issues getting mares in foal and also producing semen on time. Had to switch studs mid season on my mare. Tried twice and then they wouldn't ship on a given day. I did like his material side and was looking forward to breeding to him.

I see Muscle Hill likened to Brett Hanover. A horse with refined gait and tremendous speed before the breed caught up. Brett left no sons to pass it on. Same for the great Secretariat !!

Adios went to Tar Heel mares quite alot and Brett was a great example of a tried and true bloodline. (Except most were common actors alot...)

London as two posters corrected me Resolve stands in ON. Any others not sure as the USTA doesn't have any if you bring up ON.
