Urbana, Ohio Fair place to be Tuesday
« on: August 05, 2018, 05:32:05 PM »
19 races at the historic half mile oval.  17 races with $15,000 purses.  Noble and Page listed to appear.  Roger Huston will be behind the mike (not a selling point) and also Chamber of Commerce night - televisions given away after each race.  One of the better venues for fair racing in Ohio.  Always big crowds at the Champaign County Fair.  6 p.m. post.

I am sure Steve Carpenito will be in attendance as well.  Worth the price of admission!

Word on Powell Avenue is that the Wizard will be in attendance.  He will be doing live feeds and cut-ins on the OHHA Facebook page.  Instead of giving away televisions, they should be giving away signed Wizard bobbleheads.  Would be SRO then.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
