Mohawk Thursday
« on: April 19, 2018, 05:13:41 PM »
Race#5-#8 Jann And Dean 8-1 ML Roy took this one over the soon to be huge favorite (#2), has been racing well on the B Circuit & look for a big effort tonight.

Race#9-#6 Imstaynalive 6-1 ML Went a very impressive, although discreet mile last week. Draws into a very competitive bunch, if he gets a trip se should come out on top.

Really like the second one of your picks tonight although Chocolate Swirl maybe tough to beat. Really I'd like to know what Roy was doing with Jann And Dean at Rideau last start. Grabbing up like that to let a 15/1 come around and jam up the whole field?

Effort was same exact at race before. Unless he thinks he's driving much the best horses every race, that's going to be the result.

Once he went to the back it was curtains for him although the horse put in a decent effort. He'll be 4-5 next week and not worth the bet.

That horse of Ketros took awhile to break through in maiden company a couple years ago at Bangor, horse is gutless but looked ok because it was bottom of the barrel classifications.

I dunno that horse had a big shot to win last night and the guy is a complete stiff. Really nice end of miles last handful of starts too. Can you imagine what a competent trainer and driver could do with that one? Just surprised no one has bought it up. They buy worse up there. Maybe Ketros asking too much for it or its his pet, who knows.
