It's a fair in the middle of the woods, so nobody should expect massive pools to bet into. With that being said, this is the way harness racing used to be. Day out for the family, people seeing friends they haven't saw in awhile & large crowds at the track. The racing is competitive, beautiful track, great weather & great food. Get out and enjoy it while you can  tmbz1

Nice if you are living in 1980, but with todays demographics ( now there is a word, people in this industry don't have a clue of) no one goes to a track live anymore. The 400lb man sitting in his basement is todays customer. I doubt there is even an internet signal to even watch, let alone bet. And there isn't enough people in Maine for this to be a success.  Always wishing well, but being a realist

this one and fryeburg for some reason draw massive crowds. there are other attractions but only place in the country you will see full grandstands and aprons other than delaware, ohio. with foiled again appearing and racing on labor day you will not be able to get near the place.

Are they live streaming the races from Windsor?

I thought someone had mentioned on FB, in the comment section of the Foiled Again announcement, that all the races from there were going to be live streamed this year?

Does anybody have a link?

Some Maine Fairs' races like Fryeburg and Windsor and sometimes Farmington,  are simulcast....but only to Scarboroough Downs, and the OTBs in Maine.

You can not access the signal from these spots or on line

Windsor and all the fairs go to otbs in maine only and Hinsdale nh otb. too bad with the heat ac of otb is a great option as well as if it were sent online. Windsor facilities are top notch. 3 pm post  should have gone away years ago. the time in between races is unbearable . today 95 degree heat maybe 50 people there should have been run off as fast as a card of qualifiers. lets say close to twenty mins a race are we in 1950 again.

Thinking of going there this weekend. What are the numbers for the live handle ? Can you simulcast wager there, or somewhere close? Best place to stay Augusta? Looking at Augusta Inn? Is Foiled Again there on Monday to race or just for pictures? Will Drew Campbell let you get a win picture taken with him .....if you buy him a beer?
Thanks for info.

first there is no simulcasting. everyone there that bets or watches are betting or watching on the live product only. there's a couple of dice games in the back if you need more action. chug a lug or chock o lock or something like that. if you bet around 20.00 a race the handle won't affect your odds, unless it's a cold exacta or tri then an issue. there are no otb's withing 60 miles or so. maybe waterville me after the races if it is still open. foiled again is running and is not barred from the betting. dozens of places to stay. augusta works.

handle will be in the 40 000  range on weekends. Waterville otb is open. plan on a long day. only 50 people on site today to start card. 5 taken away for heat exhaustion.  2 died of old age. 43 people and 3 hours to run the card.  weekends a good crowd they might need lights to finish.  buy drew a beer and you can get a picture and his autograph.

The Waterville OTB (Favorites) is now open in a new location it is on College Avenue across the street from the Waterville Post Office next to the Dunkin Donuts.  A relative of mine went recently and said the new location is great with bar, food etc. far superior to the old location she compared it to when the OTB was at John Martins Manor in terms how  nice things are now at this location.

Awesome opening day, big crowd, decent bet & big miles including 1:52:2 in the feature. Now if we could cut out the endless banter of the announcer and stick to announcing races  tmbz1
