2 steaks on the card Wednesday at Bangor, 6 entries one race, 7 in the other.  Fields look a little stronger.

Money's so good in Maine Stakes that M&L Stable of Delaware had a colt qualify yesterday at Bangor. I'm surprised Burke isn't getting in on it.

Give Burke some time. He loves taking advantage of easy money. I think he ships some better horses every year to Maine to race at Plainridge's upper classes. Money is real good there. He has had horses in the Mass Sire Stakes for years.

Joe Nelson trains the ones in Maine for the summer. And gets most of his in cheep at the fairs.

Maine Steaks are tough to chew. I like mid west beef the best!

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: Right. Broke down start before we bought him. Trailered off the track. Was left in the back of a barn at a farm in New Paltz. I did what I do win his first start with me in the basement. Two starts later beat the 10s. Eric Warner needs him to fill the Open, my owner was already building his paddock to retire him. Which we did and he's been there since. Piss you off because you never owned one?
