I have never been and never will be a fan of his life decisions. But I am not in his personal life. I however, am in the business that he is trying to help. Some of us had the opportunity to be on the "Fischman" list and didn't take it. We have suffered because of that decision for nearly a decade, getting our brains, beaten by people using these incredible and illegal drugs on the horses. And Mike undoubtedly has helped me and those like me in the long term. Think about Yonkers alone. Fixing of draws on top of using these drugs for these trainers? Then they can decline your entry if they want going for the greatest purses of all time? Look at Saratoga. One of the greatest thieves of all time has done nothing but benefit by using these drugs year after year, robbing legitimate trainers and owners out of millions. His particular grip even reached over to Plainridge robbing those Horseman, who suffered for years with no purses. And then there is Monticello with the Sowers crew. Can you imagine watching everyone get arrested in 2020 and then getting a sigh of relief not getting arrested yourself for doing the exact same thing? And then having the balls to continue to use those drugs because you know there are no test for them? Beckwith, Sowers and many others will be gone soon. No beards. And let's be honest, do you think Wally Hennessy is "retiring" now by a coincidence? And notice the "I'll probably retire" crap too waiting to see if his co horts can't race anymore??? It will be an interesting spring this year for sure.
