Outbox
« on: January 09, 2026, 01:20:13 PM »
Would a Horseplop member brighter than me, tell me how to find the messages outbox. I occasionally engage in a chat, and I save my sent message, but finding the outbox has proven more difficult than having a winning day at the track. TIA.

Are you referring to incoming messages? If you are, in the heading up top under "My Messages". click on that and then click on "Read my Messages" If you're referring to messages you sent, click on "My Messages" then click on "Send a Message".

Thx 4 responding, but what I am trying to do is read the messages I have already sent out to a number of members. I am always given the chance to save my message to the outbox. I do that, but then can’t retrieve it in the future.

Try clicking "Profile" then click "Modify Profile" and then click "personal messaging" then find "display personal messages".

That’s because you have to check the box to save the message before sending it.

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.
