I knows some peoples. Called a friend in PHONIX and just mentioned HAWTHORNE. She knows horse racin. She went in the newspaper out here as they have some hanndicapper for TURF PARADISE who has selections and a dailey colummee. HE wrote that HAWTHORNE will close in JULY. I heard the 1st.
So I went today to make a bet at OTB,SADDLE ROOM. TOMMY the night time manager at trackside be there. He goes: I'll tell ya: RUMORS are flyin. But he telld me 2 weeks ago at HAWTHORNE the air condition went out. Don't know the extent of who they have to air-condition,but he went: Why fix if you closin up shop. Will see. TB'S suppossied to run thru enf of NOVEMBER. yet 2 days a week and their handle is pathetic,how long they can survive is questionable.

Doesn’t AC break down every year?
I remember few years back bunch of people got sick from spoiled food. I think AC and power was out a long time.

YA.It seems that has happened a few times. Don't exactly know about a SALMONILA problem,but that seems false.
Christ you only serving about 75 patrons. Maybe in bakstrech,but one would think in all me years experience, them would be cookin their own food.
