I never talked to Dan but I spoke to his wife quite a few times, nice lady.
At one time Daley and his wife did pretty well at Vernon Downs. Dan was always a poor driver at the bigger tracks but did ok at Vernon.
I'm pretty sure Dan's son is a politician in Florida.

He really should surrender his driver’s license. Poor horses have to suffer his brutal drives with all of  humping and pushing .

A few years ago, he raced a lame horse in a sire stake at Saratoga and fell down hurting one of the drivers really bad. I watched the race and knew his horse was lame and I couldn't believe he didn't know it.
