Looking at the ownership, even though they're different, the #5 horse and YS Sensationalcity are both owned in Quebec, Canada, so perhaps someone owns a piece of both horses. This is pure speculation on my part.

Yves always loved Simon & Rene
Even if they don't win- if they come back sound & we'll try it again. They'll still be fed & well taken care of.
Have to keep them happy, well fed & rested.
They pay us back in money & memories to last a lifetime.

Note the date of ownership change on Ys Sensationalcity. The name has a sadly familiar ring.

Maybe Simon polished the ole hammer for him!   Or is he way too old for Simon's taste?  ngc3

  • Trigger: I'm retracting...Gold en Tempo punched his derby ticket (60 points), Ortiz hitting left and horse going sharp left is a bit change (see Sierra Leone).  Horse lost by 1 and lost shit tons w/ diagonol move.  I'm loading up on him in pool 6!

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.

  • dougie: He got good tactical speed. I really thpught he had a big shot to pull it off.

  • Trigger: If Pavlovian can rate a bit, maybe he wins the derby.  Nice horse  tmbz1

  • Trigger: I thought BT & I had a real good shot w/ a 110 4/5, wide but nice momentum, and then a sharp left turn mid stretch ended that  ngc3
