Canadian Pacing Derby is $540,000 Canadian which is $397,000 US dollars.  Pretty good money.

The status of Bythemissal is unknown, he hasn't been on the track for months and no articles have been written. If anyone here has personal  knowledge of the Burke stable they should speak up.

Batavia has mostly half mile Borgata type horses not big track specialists although Desperate Man can race anywhere. 

Charlie May got beaten by Low Rider at the Greenville Fair last night.

Amazing how far Oakwood Ardan has come, I don't think anyone knew he would be this good.

Yes he won the Kane at Batavia last year too.  That field was quite a bit weaker than this one though.  Gillis has been getting this horse ready at will for two years now.
