The same principles for 'The Stable' are employed by 'Myracehorse'.  I know people in both groups, some are happy, some are not.
For a savvy owner these offer little chance for a big lick....but for a person looking to get their feet wet its not bad.
At least with the standardbreds you get to see your horse race more frequently than the runners race, and its obviously a given that not every two year old gets to the races.
I do however take serious issue with AMAC as a driver.  When he was still racing in Canada I used to watch in amusement as
the 'boys' would try to boat him home.....usually to no avail.  I mean they used to mail this guy, couldn't drive a hot nail in a snowbank.
Watch the replay of the PA Sires July 12th, race 5........he almost took Boyd's horses front legs off as he cut down to the rail when they boiled out of there.  AMAC has no regard for anyone else or the horse they drive....that drive alone should have cost him 10 days.

I don't say this often but AMAC is one of the drivers racing now that will blatantly go dead with no regard for appearance or integrity. . I have seen this at Northfield and Meadows. I have called judges only once in the last decade and it was based on a meadows drive by this guy.

He is not one of the good guys.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.
