Linedrive
« on: June 05, 2024, 12:56:37 PM »
Looking at the field for BOLE it reminds me of the first time my future wife and went to Northfield for the very first time.
The great Lew Williams and What a Baron tackled old Joe and Nero.
Not many days go by that I don’t think of the great lefty.
We are going to go, can you bet Mohawk there. I am going to bet 50 on legendary Hanover and parlay it all back on Linedrive.

I stopped at the sports book to bet the parlay but they don’t take horses. So I’ll make my own.

I would tend to agree with that.  But HELLABALOU seems to come up big in big spots.   I'll try him if the price is right.  tmbz1

What an intriguing race!  Aaron with the rail in a big race on his own turf.  The 'perfect' opportunity to do what he does best---go right to the front and go as fast as he can and as long as he can!  There is a 9 hole trailer with a live trainer/driver/post position.  Page and bythemissal better be careful with aaron on the rail and a 9 hole follower.  Bythemissal might not see the pylons as aaron "owns" northfield, not page.  Just an observation.
What happened in one of the big races at northfield last year [or a few years ago]?  A young lady driver (sorry i don't know her name) reaped the rewards of the boy's idiocy and lit up a toteboard in the process!
