'A wk late and a dollar or two short' story
« on: May 31, 2024, 01:40:24 PM »
As todays Harrahs Philly friday card now underway, teletheater comrade this aft. breaks down last friday the 24th Harrahs Philly final r14 price debacle...where his tri hit 'jump for joy' was reduced to an on your knees 'sucker faceslap'

7 horses
Morgan post 7 #8  wins paying 34 dollars
16-1,  7-1 and 11-1 top 3

Tetrick 3-5 off board, 7-2 second choice off tri.

TRI PAY FOR A BUCK
$168
EX BUCK
$58
Dreadful financial outcome
Investigatory outcome perhaps.

My suggestion to him once more: 'poce in the eye' downs and harrahs philly best forgotten.

Avoiding THAT operation like its Pa.stepbrother Pocono perhaps best remedy at this juncture.

tmbz1 Now this payoff atrocity definitely qualifies as a story worth reading compared to the pathetic attempt by another poster yesterday who tried to make something out of nothing on a Meadows race.
